Our Team

Elizabeth C. Santana is the Early Life Stress and Resilience (ELSRP) Program Administrator at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford School of Medicine. She oversees and manages numerous ELSRP projects and directly supports executive faculty in the department. Elizabeth collaborates with numerous faculty and staff members to develop and manage community initiatives and programs and engages in various aspects of programmatic focus on mental health and wellness including the design, implementation, and management of internal cross-disciplinary initiatives. 

Elizabeth’s academic interests lie within systematic justice theory, public health and policy administration, and behavioral psychology with an emphasis on mindfulness-based practices and principles. She has experience in the field working as a community service provider engaging directly with youth populations and providing wellness/health education and supporting crisis interventions for organizations such as Bill Wilson Center, Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley, and Huckleberry House in San Francisco.
